Dear Mrs. Cruz
Mrs. Kennington’s fifth grade class will be attending a production of the Broadway musical The Lion King on March 25 to conclude their study of the theatre. As you are probably aware, the play is based on the 1994 Disney Film about a young lion’s coming-of-age Struggles.
Attending the play will give the fifth graders a real sense of New York theater. The production will be at the New Amsterdam Theatre, built in 1903 and for years considered the most majestic on 42nd Street. Though it’s recent renovation, it has been restored almost to its original grandeur. The theatre is best known as the home of the Ziegfeld Follies and George M Cohan’s Forty-Five Minutes from Broadway.
This will be a great experience for the fifth graders. Mrs. Kennings ton would like four parents to help chaperone on the day of the production. Are you interested and willing to assist? I will call you next week to determine your availability and discuss details.
Sincerely
Marsha Rhodes

Dear Geneva
Last week at the Educational Theatre Association National Convention, you mentioned that your teaching assignment for next year included an Introduction to Shakespeare class. I find the Internet to be a very useful supplement for crating interest in many of the classes I teach. Here are four websites dealing with Shakespeare that you may find helpful for your new class.
Another resource that I use is a booklet published by Thomson Learning: Introducing Shakespeare. A copy of the title page is attached. The booklet contains scans from some of Shakespeare’s best-known works. Scenes from my favorite (Romeo and Juliet, a Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Julius Caesar) are included.
As I come across other resources, I will forward them to you. Enjoy the rest of the summer; another school year ill be upon us before we know it.
Sincerely Marshall W. Cline Attachment

Last week when I was in Longview visiting elatives, I noticed that you had Giuseppe Armani figurines displayed in your window. You had already closed for the day, so I was not able to see if you had other figurines.
I am interested in three sculptures that Armani had created to celebrate the new millennium. They are called Stardust, Silver Moon, and Comet. I want to buy all three sculptures. Do you have them in stock, or could you order them? If not, could you refer me to a nearby dealer?
I am looking forward to adding these exquisite pieces of art to my collection.

Thank you for taking time out of your business schedule to speak to our Aspiring Musicians Club. It was great learning more about the” Masters” from you.
I particularly enjoyed learning more about the German composers. It is amazing that so many of the great musicians are all from Germany. It is my goal to continue my study of music at the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik Rheinland in Germany once I graduated from college.
Our sights into what it takes to make it as a professional musician wee also enlighting for our members. Those of us who want to become professional musicians know we have to rededicate ourselves to that goal if we are going to be successful.
Thank you again for sharing your expertise with our club.

It seems like years since we were in Ms. Gerhig’s keyboarding class. Now I wish I had paid more attention. As I indicated on the phone, I am applying for a position as box office coordinator for one of the theaters on Broadway. Of course, I know the importance of having my letter of application and resume correctly, but I’m not sure I remember how to do it.
Since you just completed your business education degree, I knew where to get the help I needed. Thanks for agreeing to look over my application documents; they enclosed. Also, if you have any suggestions for changes to the content, please share those with me too. This job is so important to me; it’s the one I really want.
Thanks again for agreeing to help. If I get the job, I’ll take you out to one of New York’s finest restaurant.
